Rautalammi is a knife model, which became general in the change of 19th and 20th century. At that time many bladesmiths made this model. Most important maker of this knife is Emil Hänninen from Rautalammi, and it is possible, that the name "Rautalammi" also comes from him. There are different versions of this knife, of which the model used by Jukka Hankala is best known. There is a long lower ferrule in the handle and a round knob with beautiful filings. On the birch bark handle there is a "lily of the valley" figure of brass or nickel silver set in the handle.

Length of the blade is 10 cm. Sheath is red and black. On the sides of the sheath there are decorations with twig and heart figures.
